9-5 in Week 5, 47-30 overall.
Giants at Bears – This isn’t a complicated game. The Giants can’t block, give up 31 points a game minimum, and have been a lock to turn the ball over at least 3 times a game. I can name you several road games against teams they should hang with on paper that they’ve simply no-showed in recent years: The Bengals, Ravens, and Falcons games in 2012, the Monday Night Saints game in 2011, the Lambeau game in 2010 they needed to stay in the playoff race after the DeSean Jackson miracle, the Broncos Thanksgiving game in 2009. There’s two places the Giants don’t turn things around: road games on a losing streak, and against the division at home. You’re welcome, Jay.
In fact, do you wanna hear a CRAZY stat? Eli Manning is the first Super Bowl winning quarterback to start ANY season of his life 0-5. Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Hostetler, and Doug Williams (who spent five years with the BUCCANEERS, remember…) never had this happen to them.
Bears 31, Giants 7.
By the way, if you don’t think I’m onto something, watch this.
