10-6 last week.
Things are looking up for the Jaguars… kinda… anticipated to be the league’s worst team prior to the season and fulfilling that prophecy with a historically futile 0-8 start, Jacksonville has won 3 out of it’s last four (all three wins on the road, no less), and the argument can be made that they’re playing the best football in their division right now.
26 teams have started 0-8 since 1978’s 16-game schedule invocation. 11 have won the 9th game (not bad), and all of them average 2.3 wins per season. The Jags have 3, and are starting a 3-game homestand tonight against Houston (followed by Buffalo and Tennessee) that they could legitimately sweep if they keep things up. The 6-9 Jaguars… who knew? Jaguars 20, Texans 14.
