Opening Night

It's Julian Edelman's world. You're just sitting in front of a screen dealing with it.

Steelers at Patriots – HIGH scoring game tonight. The Pats’ secondary is going to take two months to resemble a unit, and the Steelers’ defense isn’t going to be good all year, much less make a statement in Week 1 in Foxboro. The biggest Steelers story of the year isn’t the rebuilding defense, but the rebuilding philosophy in an increasingly young and fast salary cap game. Having rookies play on day 1 in Pittsburgh was unheard of as soon as 4 years ago. Now they have no choice, and the field is littered with inexperience in places it never has before. I have a hard time thinking the Patriots, who are understandably motivated, won’t feast on Edelman in the slot mismatched on their inexperienced linebackers. Patriots 44, Steelers 34. Take. The. Over.
