John Schwerdt has been blogging about football since 2006, when he got way too fucking bored for his own good in his first year of medical school, and needed something to do that didn’t look like a video game while he was doing it to clear his head. What started as a bunch of posts on MySpace in the first 3 years converted over to Facebook Notes, then converted over to WordPress in 2011 as a full-blown blog. He has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. John’s University and a masters in psychology from the City University of New York in addition to his medical degree, and has been involved in multiple research projects, including one that is currently in review for publication. You should be warned that none of these had a football class in them. He also has a singing background, performing on an off in underground punk bands No Big Deal and A Cruel Twist from 2004 to 2011, releasing four records in the process. He also released a solo EP in 2012 called Ember Stories, and justifiably, no one cared.
…can I stop talking in third person now?
I like to consider myself a jack of all trades, and master of none. I have a slightly different view of the NFL… slightly… I believe in statistics, but I also believe you can strangle them to say whatever you want to further your message. I’m currently publishing a minimum of 3 times a week, with All-22 coverage, Sunday recaps, line plays, and more. I hope you have fun reading my posts, because I sure love running my mouth :-).
